Ethiopian Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC) CEO Aklilu Tadesse, discussed with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Ethiopia, Kang Seokhee.
The discussion was focused on ways of strengthening the long-standing relationship between the two countries through business and investment.
IPDC CEO AKlilu mentioned that the existing relationship between Ethiopia and South Korea is based on blood and bones and emphasized the need to work together to strengthen it.
He added that working more closely will enable new Republic of Korean investors to invest in various sectors, especially in the manufacturing sector.
Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Ethiopia, Kang Seokhee stated that the relationship between Ethiopia and South Korea goes beyond history, calling for strengthened efforts to boost development and investment cooperation between the two countries.
The Ambassador reiterated the commitment of the Republic of Korea to continue to be a major partner of Ethiopia by participating in various investment sectors in the nation’s industrial parks.
The two sides have reached to work together in the fields of training and education as well as other areas of partnership.
