Macter International Limited, a pharmaceutical giant based in Pakistan with over 40 years of experience, has expressed a strong desire to invest in the pharmaceutical sector within the Qilinto Industrial Park, located on the outskirts of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Macter International is a leading Pakistani pharmaceutical company that distributes its products to markets in Asia, Africa, the United Arab Emirates, and other countries by working with international partners.
The interest of the prominent Pakistani public pharmaceutical company was disclosed during a meeting between Mr. Aklilu Taddese, the CEO of the Industrial Parks Development Corporation of Ethiopia (IPDC), and Dr. Shahnawaz Sajid, the President of Macter International Limited.
On the occasion, Mr. Aklilu elaborated on the investment opportunities and the incentives prepared by the Ethiopian government for foreign investors. He highlighted the government’s focus on the pharmaceutical sector and the comprehensive infrastructure available within the industrial park.
In response, Dr. Shahnawaz Sajid visited the infrastructure and the current production process at the Qilinto Industrial Park, demonstrating the company’s keen interest in exploring investment prospects in the East African nation.
