
The Ethiopian Agricultural Businesses Corporation (EABC) announced that ships carrying 1,100,000 quintals of DAP and Urea soil fertilizer for the 2017/18 E.C (2024/25) cultivation season have docked at the port of Djibouti on Monday.
In light of this, the amount of soil fertilizer unloaded at Djibouti port as of 4th February has increased to 5,392,600 quintals.
Of this, 3,717,212 quintals of soil fertilizer have been transported to Ethiopia and are being distributed to farmers through cooperatives.
Meanwhile, the corporation’s information indicates that three ships carrying an additional 1,675,000 quintals of DAP and urea soil fertilizers are expected to arrive at the port of Djibouti between February 5 and 6.
