A trade and investment delegation from Pakistan arrived in Addis Ababa earlier today.
The delegation, comprising 80 Pakistani investors and owners of renowned companies, was welcomed at Bole International Airport by Ambassador Ababi Demessie, Economic Diplomacy Advisor to the State Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Aklilu Tadese, Chief Executive Officer of the Ethiopian Industrial Parks Development Corporation upon arrival.
During their six-day visit to Ethiopia, the delegation will take part in business consultation forums and will also visit Bole Lami, Qilinto, and Adama Industrial Parks.
The purpose of the visit is to strengthen bilateral economic ties between Ethiopia and Pakistan by introducing Ethiopia’s investment and trade opportunities. The FDRE Embassy in Islamabad facilitated the visit through its diplomatic efforts.
