The Ethiopian Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration (MoTRI) today confirmed that 14.19 million USD was obtained from the export of soybean by-products during the last six months of the current Ethiopian fiscal year.
According to the Ministry, the envisaged revenue from the export of soybean by-products was delineated at 12.38 million US dollars; nevertheless, the factual earnings surpassed expectations, culminating at 14.19 million US dollars.
The ministry further elucidated that the soybean by-product earmarked for export serves the function of animal sustenance.
Moreover, it was underscored that India and the United States of America stand as the primary destination nations for soybean by-products originating from Ethiopia.
