The Ministry of Transport and Logistics is teaming up with Ethio Auto Tech Trading to host an automotive fair for three days starting on July 3, 2024. This event will showcase advancements in transportation, logistics, and the automotive industry, while also serving as a platform to attract investment in Ethiopia’s growing transport sector.
The event will feature over 150 participants, including manufacturing companies. According to Ethio Auto Tech Trading Manager Addis Alemayehu, institutions will have the opportunity to present new technologies and promote their products. Attendees can expect to see a variety of vehicles on display and participate in road safety awareness programs. “The fair aims to connect industry players, showcase new technologies, and promote electric vehicles,” explained Amelework Hezekiel, Public Relations and Communication Executive for the Ministry
A panel discussion will also address key challenges and solutions within the transportation sector. Discussions are expected to cover transport policy, strategies, and future directions, with a specific focus on addressing safety concerns, especially for foreign investors.
