Job Description
This position is responsible for providing professional translation services and linguistic support to internal teams and external clients, ensuring high-quality and accurate translations.
Major Responsibilities
- Translate documents and materials between Chinese, English, and local languages with precision.
- Professionally communicate with customers and address inquiries related to translations.
- Provide linguistic and cultural insights to support internal operations and external communications.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Diploma or degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of professional translation experience, particularly involving Chinese and English.
Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in Chinese and English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of local languages (e.g., Amharic, Oromo) is an added advantage.
Skills:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with translation tools or software.
- Experience in technical, legal, or business translation.
