House of Peoples’ Representatives approved a 275 million USD loan agreement made between the government of Ethiopia and the International Development Association (IDA) during its 33rd regular meeting today.
The loan is dedicated to the second Phase of the Water Supply and Sanitation Program that will be implemented in selected towns over the next three years.
The interest-free loan is payable in 38 years after six years of grace period.
