Forum Showcases Ethiopia’s Investment Potential in Seoul

An investment forum was held in Seoul, South Korea that Showcases Ethiopia’s investment potential and opportunities to South Korean investors.

The forum, which brought together over 200 companies, was aimed at introducing Ethiopia’s investment opportunities to South Korean investors and creating awareness for pre-investment visits.

In his opening remark Ethiopia’s Ambassador Plenipotentiary to South Korea, Dessie Dalke highlighted Ethiopia’s wide range of investment potential and called on South Korean investors to invest in Ethiopia.

Prioritized investment areas, policy reforms made by the Ethiopian government to create a favourable investment ecosystem, and the major incentives to encourage foreign direct investment were among the issues provided in detail for the participants.

During the discussion, representatives of Shints Textile Company working in Ethiopia shared the company’s experience with South Korean investors.

The participants expressed that the forum on the country’s investment potentials has boosted their interest for a pre-investment visit.
