A new tourism website aimed at enhancing the digital presence of Ethiopia’s travel sector has officially been launched. Developed by the Information Network Security Administration (INSA) in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, the platform is designed to serve as a one-stop hub for both local and international tourists.
The website offers information on tourist destinations across the country, along with listings for hotels, tour operators, tourism material markets, and other relevant services. It also enables users to make bookings and purchases directly through the platform.
Tourism Minister Selamawit Kassa described the launch as a milestone in the country’s ongoing efforts to digitize its tourism infrastructure. She stated that the website would be regularly updated and improved based on user feedback and technological advancements.
In addition to planning their trips, visitors can use the website to leave reviews and feedback about their travel experiences. The platform also allows hotel operators, tour companies, and other service providers to showcase their offerings and upload their business information.
Officials say the launch is part of a broader strategy to position Ethiopia as a digitally advanced and tourist-friendly destination.
