Ethiopia and Gambia have agreed to revitalize their existing air transport service cooperation.

It is stated that the agreement was signed between the Director General of the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority, Getachew Mengiste, and the Gambian counterpart.

The agreement enables Ethiopian Airlines to fly to Gambia and from Gambia to other African countries without restrictions on routes and destinations.

In addition, the agreement allows flights from The Gambia to other countries outside of Africa to be licensed by the Gambian Civil Aviation Authority, according to the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority.
