The Ethiopian and Russian Business Forum is underway in Addis Ababa to further strengthen trade and investment between the two countries.
Senior government officials, the Russian Ambassador to Ethiopia, Terekhin Engeny, and businessmen from both countries, among others are attending the forum.
The forum is expected to deliberate on ways and means of enhancing trade and investment relations between the two countries.
It will also create opportunities for Ethiopian and Russian business communities to exchange views on areas of cooperation.
The participants are expected to deliberate on various areas of cooperation including geology, mineral resources, IT, cybersecurity, agriculture, industry, transport, and energy.
