Ethio-Djibouti Railway service (EDR) has announced the launch of an online ticket booking service for its passengers.
The company’s CEO Engineer Takele Uma announced today on his social media page that starting from February 24, 2025, passengers will be able to book and use their national ID online.
He noted that the Ethio-Djibouti Railway service has been digitized, which will enable the company to provide quality and efficient travel services to its customers.
The digital service system was developed by the Ethio-Djibouti Railway in collaboration with Ethio Telecom and the Ethiopian National ID Program (Fayda).
