A delegation consisting of Saudi Arabian investors will visit Ethiopia in the upcoming August 2024 and explore business and investment opportunities in the country.
Ethiopia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Taye Atske-Selassie conferred with the Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Chamber of Commerce, Hassan Moejeb Alhwaizy, it was indicated.
The Foreign Minister underlined that Ethiopia is establishing a favorable investment climate through significant reforms intended to attract investors from various countries, and he welcomed Saudi Arabian investors to engage in trade and investment activities.
Taye urged those Saudi Arabian companies to seize the investment opportunities in Ethiopia and benefit from the favorable situation by engaging in various sectors.
The Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Chamber of Commerce, Hassan Moejeb Alhwaizy expressed that Saudi Arabian investors are eager to engage in investment and trade in Ethiopia, particularly in the agricultural products processing and manufacturing sectors.
He announced that a delegation of selected Saudi Arabian investors will visit Ethiopia in August.
On his part, Foreign Minister Taye appreciated the great interest of investors from Saudi Arabia to engage in various investment areas in Ethiopia, adding that they will be encouraged and receive the necessary support.
Moreover, enhanced investments from Saudi Arabia will further strengthen the bilateral relations and people-to-people ties between the two countries.
