A high-level business delegation from the Czech Republic, comprised of government officials and investors, recently visited the Bole Lemi and Kilinto special economic zones in Ethiopia.
The delegation is actively exploring opportunities in sectors such as car assembly, medical equipment manufacturing, trade, and other related industries. During the visit, Zemen Junedi, Deputy CEO of the Industrial Parks Development Corporation, delivered a presentation outlining the incentives available in these special economic zones, as well as the government’s recent economic reform measures aimed at boosting foreign direct investment.
Zemen highlighted the growing demand for foreign investment following these reforms. Delegation members expressed their impression of the economic zones, noting that they are not only modern but also competitive with economic centers found in developed nations.
