
An Ethiopian Business and Investment Forum was held in Prague today to showcase the investment opportunities in Ethiopia with the participation of several Czech Republic businesses and heads of companies.
State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mesganu Arga, in his opening remarks, underscored the tremendous opportunities for strengthening trade and investment ties between Ethiopia and the Czech Republic.
He emphasized that Ethiopia’s macroeconomic reform programs have created a conducive environment for investment and encouraged Czech Republic companies to take advantage of these opportunities.
On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner of the Ethiopian Investment Commission, Dagato Kumbe provided insights into Ethiopia’s investment laws, incentives, and opportunities.
Trade and investment cooperation was a key agenda item in today’s 8th Ethio-Czech Republic political consultation, which reaffirmed the commitment of both countries to further strengthen bilateral relations.
