China Machinery Engineering Corporation Group (CMEC) announced that it plans to invest in Ethiopia’s mining, renewable energy, and construction sectors.
CMEC Group’s plan was disclosed during Ambassador Teferra Derbew’s visit to the Corporation’s headquarters and workshops earlier today.
During his visit to the Corporation, Tefera Derbew, Ethiopia’s Ambassador to China discussed with CMEC’s general manager, Mr. Fang Yanshui.
During the conversation, Mr. Fang Yanshui presented his Corporation’s plan to invest in Ethiopia’s construction, renewable energy, and mining sectors.
In return, Ambassador Tefera assured Mr. Yanshui of his embassy and the Ethiopian government’s support to CMEC Group in all its efforts to embark on investment in the East African nation.
China Machinery Engineering Corporation is a construction and engineering company, that forms one part of the China National Machinery Industry Corporation group of companies. A specialization of CMEC is the construction of power projects in generation, transmission, and distribution.
