The second edition of the Big 5 Construct Ethiopia exhibition is set to take place from May 30 to June 1, 2024, at the Millennium Hall in Addis Ababa. This international event focuses on promoting growth and sustainability within the Ethiopian construction industry.
Building on the success of the first edition, Big 5 Construct Ethiopia 2024 introduces a new focus on infrastructure alongside established themes such as sustainability, project management, technology, and design. Supported by the Ethiopia Construction Works Corporation (ECWC), the event attracts international companies to showcase their products, services, and vision for the future of construction.
With Ethiopia’s construction sector experiencing growth, the exhibition boasts ten diverse product sectors. Over 150 local and international exhibitors will connect with more than 9,000 construction professionals and potential buyers from 19 countries. Newcomers to the scene this year include Jotun Paints, EJOT (Germany), Bostik (France), Araib Factory for Industry (Saudi Arabia), and Roofing’s Middle East (UAE).
Country pavilions representing Ethiopia, Italy, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and China will showcase the latest construction trends.
Yonas Ayalew, CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, emphasizes the event’s importance in fostering global connections. Big 5 Construct Ethiopia 2024 provides a platform for exhibitors and visitors to share experiences, expand networks, and promote the entire construction value chain.
