A cooperation agreement between the Governor of the National Bank of Ethiopia and the Governor of the Swedish Central Bank (Riksbank) was signed today.

Reports indicate that the cooperation agreement includes technical, research, communication, and digitization cooperation.

The Governor of the National Bank, Mamo Mehretu, explained the measures being taken to restore the macroeconomic stability of the National Bank and re-invigorate the structural reforms.

On the other hand, he discussed with the heads of many foreign banks and financial institutions at the forum organized by Standard Bank.
