The 13th edition of the International Conference on Pulses and Oilseeds commenced in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, this morning, Minister of Trade and Regional Integration, Mr. Kassahun Gofe (PhD) confirmed.
The conference is being held at the Adwa Victory Memorial Hall, in the Ethiopian capital.
In his opening speech, Kassahun conveyed a message to exporters from Ethiopia who are engaged in the export of pulses and oilseeds to strengthen ties with existing and new companies of foreign countries and increase Ethiopia’s foreign exchange earnings by tapping the opportunity created by this conference.
The conference is an ideal platform that connects the exporters of Ethiopia with the buying companies and organizations of different countries from across the world, the Minister said in a social media post after opening the event.
He also claimed that this conference plays a key role in building the image of the country at a high level.
